A finished metallic epoxy garage floor in West Valley City, the silver and blue movement running to the wall.

What we coat

The floor you park on, made to last.

Hot tyres, road salt, a dropped wrench and the winter slush off two cars, every day. A flake or metallic floor over diamond-ground concrete is built for exactly that, and it washes clean with a hose.

Estimates are free, and done in person on your slab.

A garage floor finished in silver, white and blue metallic epoxy, poured and worked by hand.
One of their own jobs. There is no stock photography anywhere on this site.

The job behind the photograph.

A garage slab in Utah has a hard life. It takes hot tyres in August, salt and grit tracked in off the roads from November to March, and whatever leaks out of the cars in between. Bare concrete soaks all of that up, which is why it stains, dusts and pits. A coating seals it, and the polyaspartic topcoat is the layer that lives with the tyres and the salt without yellowing or lifting.

Most garages get the full flake system. The slab is diamond ground so the epoxy keys down into the concrete rather than sitting on top of it, cracks and pits are filled, then a pigmented base goes down and vinyl flake is thrown into it by hand until no more will stick. Once it cures the floor is scraped flat and the clear polyaspartic goes over the top. Flake hides dust and tyre marks and gives the floor grip when it is wet.

When the garage is a workshop, a gym or somewhere people actually spend time, metallic is the other option. Metallic pigment is worked into the epoxy by hand so no two floors move the same way, and it goes under the same polyaspartic topcoat. The metallic garage in the gallery was done in West Valley City and every stage of it is on the feed.

System

Full flake or metallic

Flake for a working garage, metallic when the room is a room. Both under polyaspartic.

Diamond ground, not etched

Cracks and pits filled on the same pass, the slab vacuumed before anything is mixed.

Hot tyres, salt, oil

The topcoat is UV stable, chemical resistant and anti scratch.

Ask at the estimate

Polyaspartic cures fast. When you can park on it depends on the system and the weather.

Free estimate

Get a number on the garage.

The space, roughly how big it is and what the concrete is doing now is enough to start with. Someone comes out, stands on the slab and gives you a number.

We only use this to get back to you about the estimate. Would rather talk? Call or text (801) 441-8054 and it gets answered.
