What we coat

Interior slabs that stay dry and clean.

A basement or a bathroom floor over concrete has to cope with water, whether that is a wet room, a laundry, a utility area or a slab that has never quite been dry. A sealed coating does that, and it is the easiest floor there is to keep clean.

Estimates are free, and done in person on your slab.

One of their own jobs. There is no stock photography anywhere on this site.

The job behind the photograph.

Basement concrete in Utah is often cold, sometimes damp and usually a little rough, and the floor coverings that go over it hold that damp. A coating seals the slab instead: the epoxy soaks into the ground concrete and the topcoat closes the surface, so spills sit on top of it and mop up, and there is no carpet or underlay to hold moisture.

The bathroom on this site is at the tint shop in West Valley City, a small room floor rolled out in the same base coat as the office beside it and finished under the same polyaspartic. Small rooms are more cutting in than square footage, and the coating runs clean to the wall line so there is no gap at the edge for water to get into.

Moisture is the one thing that gets checked before anything goes down. A slab with a real moisture problem needs it dealt with first, and that gets flagged at the estimate rather than after. Where the floor is going to be wet, an anti slip additive goes into the topcoat.

Water

Sits on top, mops up

A sealed slab does not soak up a spill or hold damp the way a covering does.

Moisture

Checked first

A slab with a serious moisture problem gets flagged at the estimate, not covered over.

Edges

Cut clean to the wall

Small rooms are mostly cutting in. The coating runs to the wall line with no gap.

Wet floors

Anti slip on request

An additive in the topcoat for bathrooms, laundries and wet rooms.

Free estimate

Get a number on the basement.

The space, roughly how big it is and what the concrete is doing now is enough to start with. Someone comes out, stands on the slab and gives you a number.

We only use this to get back to you about the estimate. Would rather talk? Call or text (801) 441-8054 and it gets answered.
