Logan is the north end of the run, the far end of "Santaquin to Logan" off the reel, over Sardine Canyon in Cache Valley. It is colder than the Wasatch Front and stays snowed in longer, which is harder on concrete than anything the valley does: more freeze and thaw cycles, more salt, and a longer season of slush coming into the garage on the tyres.

Outdoor concrete takes sun, salt and tyre heat. Flake gives it grip when it is wet and the topcoat keeps it from chalking.

The first thing anyone walks on. Cracks get filled, the step edge gets wrapped, and the whole thing washes clean.
That is the case for coating a slab up here rather than leaving it bare. Garages in full flake under the polyaspartic, porches and drives sealed and textured for grip, and the university and the downtown for commercial floors. It is the longest drive on this list and it is the crew’s to absorb.
